Kroger Tips

Today we are going to talk about Coupon Shopping at Kroger.

1. Kroger doubles manufacture coupons up to $0.50 7 days a week.  So a $0.50 coupon is worth $1.00 but a $0.55 coupon is only worth $0.55.
2. Kroger’s senior discount day is Wednesday and seniors receive an additional 5% off their total bill.
3. Remember to use your Kroger card and if you don’t have one get one.  Kroger mails out great store and manufacture coupons to your address they have on based on your Kroger card purchases.  You will need the Kroger card to take advantage of sales and discounts.
4. Kroger will allow you to use one store and one manufacture coupon per item.
5. 5.     Kroger is famous for their Mega Sale Events.  A Mega Sale Event is when you buy a certain number of a specified item to get a certain amount off your total bill.  Most often you have to buy 10 of so many items to get $5 off your purchase.  You can combine this sale with coupons and score some great deals!! My biggest tip for the Mega Sale Event is bring in your re-usable shopping bags and keep count of your Mega Sale Event items by using your re-usable bags as you shop.  This keeps those items separate in your cart and helps you keep count. 
6. Be nice and polite to your cashier and store manager.
7. If there is another customer with just a few items let them go ahead of you especially if you have lots of coupons.
8. You can load electronic coupons onto your Kroger Plus Card you can do that on their website here, or on Cellfire, or Shortcuts.com.  As of right now you cannot use the electronic coupons in conjunction with your paper coupons.  (I am going to check a tip somebody recently shared with me and if it works I will update this page)
9. Kroger is has a great “OOPS! We over baked section” that often has great deals on breads and pastries.
10.
